Quality with history

In 1985 Leo Forcher started with the production of apple trees in the Vinschgau Valley (South Tyrol).

The first tree nursery was located in the municipality of Naturns in the Vinschgau Valley (South Tyrol).

But only two years later the production was shifted to the Veneto region, more precisely to the province of Verona. However, the company's main office always remained in Kastelbell (South Tyrol).

.

The location in Verona offers several advantages:

-         much better climatic conditions than in the northern Southern Tyrol

-         nutrient-rich and virgin soils which are fundamental for an optimal tree quality

-         the longer vegetation period for saplings causes a very good wood quality that is necessary for higher yields in the subsequent apple production

Beginning of the 90 years

Leo Forcher was the sole responsible for the tree production and the sales office until the year 1995.

Since 1995 his brother in law Georg Nischler has worked at the production site in Verona and became a partner in the company in 2003.

From 2003 until 2009 Leo Forcher and Georg Nischler ran the company together and shared the work in the departments for production and sales. Nischler became responsible for the tree production while Leo Forcher was in charge of the sales office.

In August 2009, Leo Forcher handed the business over to Georg Nischler.
